Hip-hop has been absent from the Sundae Slaps series.

It's not because I don't enjoy listening to it, because I do.

Just didn't want to typecast myself as some clout chaser.

This episode focuses specifically on an up-and-coming sound in hip-hop, mostly American rap.

An adaptation of mumble rap, the sound I want to share, is akin to a 'wistful whisper'.

It's kind of low-fi and more quiet-talk than singing.
